Amunique began over 20 years ago when my son, Lorenzo, brought home a buff bitch he called Gucci. Gucci became my foundation ASCOB. I moved to Connecticut and met my mentor, Barbara L. Steuert (Kimbar), and she gave me CH Silverhall Shadowdance "Cricket". Cricket became my black foundation bitch. Knowing how badly I wanted to be in the ring competing, Barbara also gave me CH Kimbar's Dance Performance "Taylor" to help me advance in the ring as a handler. With her guidance, Amunique was off to a flying start making a name for itself. Taylor not only became a great showdog, he became a great sire.

My love of the breed has not only made me a breeder, owner, handler, I became an AKC judge. Besides being approved to judge Cockers and Junior Showmanship, I am advancing in the Sporting, Hound and Working breeds. Recently, I was nominated and voted by my peers to judge the Parti color variety at the American Spaniel Club Flushing Spaniel show in January 2011. Needless to say, that as a breeder this is an honor, and you know, I would love to judge American Spaniel Club again. One Bucket List item, accomplished.
